Course Description:

This course plan is structured to give you a solid A1 to A2 level foundation online, for 1 month, then really get you speaking confidently during your in-person immersion for 2 weeks.The online lessons are delivered by email and your direct email contact with Spanish tutor during the online phase will be like having a guide right in your inbox!

Why the hybrid model is perfect for your fluent skills? Because the self paced learning of a language with online lessons lack the real life speaking training – the fluency boosting and confidence in speaking need practice.

Total Number of Lessons: 60 (30 individual online lessons delivered daily by email + 30 Conversational group training classes in person)

Course price: 180€

(you only pay the 30 digital lessons, with dedicated tutor to observe your progress and discuss possible errors. The second part of the course, 2 weeks in-person training, is for FREE and optional, designed to master your speaking fluency with intensive practical training)

Location: Only Outdoor Location – Speaking Classes are delivered for Free by Spanish learning organisations and teacher teams in Spain. You can choose Barcelona, Mallorca or Lanzarote – for your 2 weeks intensive outdoor language practice. Classes:outdoor meetings in small groups with other international Spanish learners (for all ages over 18)

Important: Accommodation and fly tickets are not included, remember that this 2 weeks course is for free and optional, given as a bonus to the 1 month digital Spanish course. For low cost experience, in terms of apartment rent and general living costs, consider the option to do your 2 weeks Spanish practice classes in Varna (Bulgaria) where in collaboration with local teachers the international group trainings for free are also available (from 15.05 to 15.09 every year) 

Target Audience: Absolute beginners or those with very minimal Spanish knowledge, aiming for A1-A2 proficiency.

Course Goal: The course is created to build a robust foundation of Spanish grammar and vocabulary through flexible online self-study, enhanced by direct tutor support. The online learning part is followed by intensive, interactive in-person practice to develop confident conversational skills for real-world communication.

Phase 1: The Digital Lessons with Personal Support (4 Weeks Online, Self-Paced Learning)

This initial month is all about building your core Spanish toolkit and getting comfortable with the basics, all with the added benefit of tailored guidance directly to your inbox. You’ll work independently, but with clear daily/weekly lessons and direct access to a tutor for questions and feedback.

Estimated Time Commitment: ~10-15 hours per week (flexible!)

What You’ll Need: Reliable Internet Access & Computer/Tablet: For receiving emails, accessing supplementary online resources. Email Address: For receiving daily lessons and communicating with your tutor.

Recommended Free Tools: YouTube Channels: Search for “Spanish for beginners” (e.g., Español con Juan, Butterfly Spanish, Easy Spanish). Online Spanish Dictionaries: WordReference.com or Linguee for quick look-ups and example sentences.

Private Tutor Email Support during Phase 1:

Daily Check-ins: You’ll receive a daily email lesson, and within each lesson, there will be prompts to engage with your private tutor.

Question & Clarification: You can email your tutor directly with any grammar questions, vocabulary doubts, or concepts you’re struggling with.

Practice Submission & Feedback: For specific exercises (e.g., writing short paragraphs, recording short audio clips of your pronunciation), you can submit them via email for personalized feedback from your tutor. This is crucial for self-correction.

Motivation & Guidance: Your tutor will provide encouragement and guidance, helping you stay on track and offering tips tailored to your progress.

Weekly Breakdown for Phase 1 (Email-Delivered Lessons):

Each week, you’ll receive daily email modules (5 per week) with explanations, vocabulary lists, exercises, and prompts for tutor interaction.

Week 1: ¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? (Hello! How are you?)

Theme: Greetings, introductions, basic personal information, asking and answering simple questions.

Vocabulary Focus:

    • Common greetings (Hola, Buenos días, Buenas tardes, Buenas noches)
    • Introducing yourself (Me llamo..., Soy de...)
    • Basic questions (¿Cómo estás?, ¿De dónde eres?, ¿Qué tal?)
    • Numbers 0-10, basic colors (rojo, azul, verde)
    • Common courtesies (Por favor, Gracias, De nada, Disculpa/Perdón)

Phase 2: The Immersive Intensive (2 Weeks In-Person, Conversational Focus)

This is where all your online learning comes to life! You’ll activate your Spanish knowledge in dynamic, real-time conversations, building confidence and fluidity in a native-speaking environment.

Location: Only Outdoor Locations – speaking courses are delivered for Free by Spanish learning organisations and teams in Spain. You can choose Barcelona, Mallorca or Lanzarote – for your 2 weeks intensive outdoor language practice. Classes in small groups with other international Spanish learners (for all ages over 18)

Estimated Time Commitment: ~15 hours of direct instruction per week, plus daily informal practice and cultural activities.

Instructor Profile: Native Spanish speaker, experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE), with a strong focus on communicative methods and creating an engaging, supportive atmosphere.

Daily Structure for Phase 2 (Monday-Friday, Sample Day): Morning or Afternoon sessions

Morning Session ( 3 days during the week 3 hours 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM):

Warm-up & Daily Check-in (30 mins): Casual conversation and sharing experiences in Spanish. Grammar in Context (30 mins): Quick review of key A1-A2 grammar points (e.g., ser vs. estar, verb tenses), immediately applied in speaking exercises. Situational Role-Plays (1 hour): Intensive practice of real-life scenarios (e.g., “Ordering at a tapas bar,” “Asking for directions to a specific landmark,” “Describing a problem at the hotel,” “Shopping for souvenirs”). Afternoon Session (2 days during the week for 3 hours 13:00 – 16:00)

Listening Comprehension & Cultural Discussion (90 mins): Listen to authentic Spanish audio/video clips (short news segments, song lyrics, interviews).
